Additional Notes
- This play is written so that Isabella and Fabrizio are never on stage at the same time. One actor can play both but must be able to represent three distinct but similar characters: Isabella, Isabella dressed as a man, and Fabrizio, an actual man.
- We have made versions of this play swapping Burattino for Ruffiana, and Pedrolino for Ricciolina to improve the male/female ratio in the cast. This does not impact the couples at the end but might change some of the Pedrolino/Ricciolina motivations.
